Figmint Catering help’s create memorable events and special occasions for busy hosts.
We specialise in catering for cocktail style events, beautiful buffets and grazing tables, gourmet BBQ’s, yacht catering and private dinner parties. Other services include a personal chef service and staff & equipment hire.
Founded in 2011 by Julie Wilson, following 13 years of hospitality experience including 8 years of cooking for the rich and famous aboard luxury motor yachts and 3 years caring for private clients. Julie decided to leave the suitcase lifestyle, to settle in Sydney, bringing with her the exotic recipes she had gathered from around the globe. She wanted the opportunity to be able to help more hosts feel relaxed when entertaining in their homes, at a venue or at the office.
Figmint takes special care in educating you about all the elements you need, to ensure your special day stands out from the rest and you get to feel like a guest at your own party! Julie is so passionate about this, that she has published a book called The High-Heeled Hostess – Mastering the art of entertaining at home.
We understand that there are many things to think about when organizing your special day. Guest list, food, beverages, entertainment, decorations and more! You may not know where to start, where you will find the time or think that you are unable to do it all on your own. We know that for some, it can become very stressful and overwhelming. Figmint takes the pain out of entertaining.
We also realise that each event has a unique crowd, with their own individual needs and expectations. So we don’t use a cookie-cutter, one size fits all approach to your celebration. And we believe great parties, should be enjoyed by everyone… hosts included!
